Desa Glass fabricates and installs architectural aluminum products and innovative glazing solutions for the new and retrofit construction markets.  As a growing business Desa Glass required a new facility as demand have exceeded the capacity of their NE Calgary facility.

Multiwood required a new facility to accommodate their growing and expanding business, including a technically sophisticated manufacturing process, offices and showroom. Spacemakers assisted in locating, due diligence and closing of the land and then managed the Design, Permits and Construction of the new 52,000 square foot facility.

Western Pump is a development of approximately 22,000 square feet.

Superior Cabinets selected Spacemakers as their Design Builder to develop a new built to suit facility in SE Calgary.

A challenge with the location of a high power distribution pole, anchors and easement had a significant impact on the site layout, building size and truck marshaling area. Spacemakers worked with the utility company to surrender the easement resolving the conflicts for the client, maximizing site and facility efficiency and creating additional distinct value for Superior Cabinets.

Superior Cabinets were thrilled with their new Calgary Facility and engaged Spacemakers to deliver the same results for their Edmonton location. The Edmonton location leveraged the design of the Calgary facility and was deployed to construct the Edmonton development with the same outstanding results.

A specialized Calgary supplier to the global drilling markets of PDC drill bits selected Spacemakers to construct their new development. Spacemakers helped Pop select and secure a site in Eastlake Industrial Park, SE Calgary. Spacemakers worked with Pop to define their short and long term requirements resulting in the design and construction of their shop and office areas.

The site was selected for long term plans of Pop and includes a good sized yard and additional space for future development and building addition.

Chemfax is a manufacturer of specialized industrial cleaners and was looking for a new production facility.

• Development is a facility of 26,000 square feet comprised of lab facility, office, warehouse, assembly/processing.
• Specialized high hazard area within the building required specialized design, engineering, construction, and permits.
• Unique ventilation requirements addressed to accommodate all operations within the building.
• Conventional structural steel with Insulated precast concrete to address pressures of high wear environment.
• Gateway entrance to East Lake industrial park required conformance to additional architectural controls

The Rambler Fabrication development covers two adjoining sites in the Westview Business Park. The facility of 27,750 square feet is situated on the primary site, with their assembly yard on the adjoining site.
